12 weeks

As of today I am 12 weeks and 2 days. I can't believe I am already this far along even though it's not that far along in the grand scheme of things. "As you move into the second trimester, baby shifts into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of baby's systems are fully formed." With that being said, we got another ultrasound on Tuesday to help me put my mind at ease. The heartbeat was 149-151 the 2 times that she checked and the baby was measuring right on time. It was amazing how big it had grown. We have pictures but of course I need to scan them in. At the moment I am trying to gather my energy to clean the kitchen and living room which if you could actually see it than you would understand why I am not scanning u/s pictures in. The baby was very active. Flipping all around and laid on its back for about a second and than flipped to its stomach where it eventually stayed for the rest of the ultrasound. It's all very surreal to me still.

So here are some common questions that are being asked recently:

Q. Are you going to find out the sex?
A. Most definitely. Anyone that knows me--knows that I am a planner

Q. Do you have names picked out?
A. A Girls name yes...no boy names

Q. Has the sickness gone away yet?
A. I haven't thrown up in the last week and 1/2 but the nausea comes and goes.

Q. When's your next doctors appointment?
A. July 2nd....for blood work

How far along? 12 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: As of yesterday at the gym...No :)
Maternity clothes? i have that one shirt but not wearing it. The flowy tops that are in style are working out great!
Sleep: tired some days and not as tired as others

Best moment this week: Not throwing up!

Movement: nothing but maybe some gas :)
Food cravings: french fries and ketchup
Gender: too early
Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: my friends....not going out w/them a much

What I am looking forward to: seeing my Ohio friends this weekend
