Rainbow Cupcakes

I figured I need to learn to cook and bake things or I'll have nothing to pass down to Lucy. I found a blog that had cute ideas from stuff to bake to how to decorate your house. This afternoon while Lucy was determined to nap--I made these:






They weren't easy to make either. I used white cake mix and then split the mix up into 6 bowls and used food coloring to make the colors purple, pink, blue, yellow, orange, and green. I used a fork to drizzle each layer of color until I got all the colors in. I thought about making icing but used whipped vanilla icing to top it off. I made 24 cupcakes and sending most of them to Lucy's daycare as an appreciation present to her teachers. On Friday they put together a Family Fun Night and they did a lot of hard work to put it together. We are so lucky to have such a fantastic daycare to send her to.
