First....

Lucy has encountered a lot of firsts lately and she's a month shy of her FIRST birthday! I can't believe that's already happening. I've been trying to plan that party amongst a baby shower, bridal shower at work, an coordinating a retirement party. Needless to say I am broke and tired! But I am trying to be as thrifty and crafty as I can with Lucy's birthday party. After all, she will have one FIRST birthday!


Lucy's first halloween. She was a strawberry fairy princess. We went to the Martin's house for trick or treating and dinner. As usual it was very nice and fun. We took Lucy to maybe 4 houses and it was so cute. We went with Molly and her friends and she enjoyed the attention she would get from them.




This past Saturday we finally had a chance to go to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a cool day but it wasn't too bad. The sun definitely helped. We played in the hay stalks, looked at the pumpkins, and took a hayride. It was so much fun seeing her explore all of these new things.




We have found out that the best part about eating out with Lucy is that A) we don't have to clean up anything INCLUDiNG the floor and B) at some restaurants they have a kids eat free special! Of course it's with the purchase of an adult meal but can't beat the deal if we are already there. Below is a picture
