Spring Has Arrived

Jeremy took off Thursday & Friday of this week for the start of March Madness. I had decided last minute that if work allowed it (meaning nothing of emergency nature was due) then I would take off a 1/2 day on Thursday and Friday to watch the games with him. We met up with Jeremy's brother, Jonathan, who was home from college to watch a few of the basketball games. It was nice to be able to hang out together without jeopardizing our time with Lucy. Thursday was also St Patrick's Day so the green beer was flowing! We couldn't ignore the beautiful weather and decided to pick Lucy up from daycare a little early and took her to the park by our house. This is the same park that we had her 1st birthday party at. We weren't sure how she would do since she's still a little young for the public park scene. She held her own though. The park that we go to has 2 play sets clearly labeled 2-5 year old and then another one for 5 years old and older. The big kids were playing on the little kids play set which made me nervous but like I said Lucy held her own. I just kept a watchful eye on her. She enjoyed going up and down the stairs. I cant wait to go back there more often this summer because there's a splash park too!
