The older Lucy gets, the holidays get more fun. She really enjoyed Halloween this year. I am not sure if it's because of the dressing up as her favorite person, Cinderella, or getting the candy. Either way, she had an absolute blast. For the past several years, we have gone to the Martin's house for Halloween, but now Molly is 16 so they have stopped that tradition. We weren't sure what we were going to do, but decided last minute to go trick or treating with Auntie Lindsay and Uncle Kyle. They went to see their nieces and nephew who Lucy knows. We met them there and they all went together. Lucy wasn't sure at FIRST, but quickly got the hang of it. She seemed fascinated with the idea that she could knock on a door and someone would put candy in her bucket. We only went to a handful of houses before we headed back. It was really cold and well we don't allow her to eat candy. Don't worry, I am not the mean mommy, I did let her have a couple pieces out of her bucket. I can't wait until next year when Piper will be able to walk to a couple of houses with her. It was so much fun this year!
