Dad's Perspective - Going Mobile & Other Piper Milestones

It has been too long since my last post and Piper had a few recent milestones so this is a good opportunity for a blog post. About two weeks ago Piper turned 9 months old. It's hard to believe that in less than three months she will be one year old! We had her 9 month dr. checkup a week ago and the doc said she is in good shape physically and is ahead or at least where she needs to be on her development. She is right on par with Lucy at the same with her measurements. She is tall (90% height), thin (40% weight) and has a big head :) (85%.)

Piper also started a swim class and has had two already. She loves the water just as much as Lucy did at that age. There are six more classes and they are an hour long on Thursday nights (starting at 6.) Lucy and I have gone and watched the first two.

Finally, Piper has been crawling for about a month now. We are quickly rediscovering that there are things that Piper will find anything in the floor. She has already found the cat food a couple times and even had at aster at least once. Lucy has had to learn that Piper loves playing with any of her toys that are out as well.

There is also a picture of burrito Lucy included. This is her favorite way to dry off after bath. :)
