The Sorg family had a great long holiday weekend. Jer & I attended a wedding downtown Indy at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. One of my friends from work got married there and it was truly one of the best weddings I've ever attended and I've been to. We had so much fun with our friends and I couldn't be happier for Nate & Angie. We stayed downtown Indy and picked Lucy up from her grandparents house and went to a cookout for a few hours. We decided to skip the fireworks because by 7:00, all of us were tired. We took Lucy home and put her to bed and Jer and I were falling asleep just as the fireworks were going off. On Monday, we went to my friend Shawn's house to swim at her pool. It was so nice seeing Hailey, Shawn, Denise & Pat. I had so much fun seeing Lucy in the pool. She just loves the water and she's defintely taking after me with the tanning easily! Her little legs and arms are getting so dark. I bought her a pair of sunglasses to match mine. After we left Shawn's house, we went to John & Gaye's house for a family cookout. We had a great weekend with friends & family! I was sad to see it end.
