It's been over three months since the last "Dad's Perspective" post(half of Lucy's life) and a lot has happened. Fortunately the other blogger has done a much better job of uploading pictures and posting updates. Lucy recently passed another milestone, she is now able to sit up without support. This one was especially amazing to me since she went from needing nearly full support to needing no support in about a week. She has also started to lunge for things recently. As you can see below she likes to play with the keyboard while sitting on my lap in front of the computer. Another of her favorite things to lunge at is a cell phone. When Lucy was younger, we got in the habit of playing on our phones while feeding her. Now as she is older, she sees them as a fun looking toy with lights and sounds. Sometimes I will lock it and let her hold to hopefully trick her into thinking that they aren't as fun as they look, but I'm pretty sure it is only the beginning of her wanting her own that won't go away until we finally give in. Since she is sitting up well, her next milestone seems like it will be teething. She is extra drooly and has been biting things more and more. Sometimes at night she will fuss a little, but it isn't anything that her pacifier can't fix.
Lucy's first attempt at typing(apparently the spacebar is her favorite key): x z 4uiiiiiiiiie6 b nnnnb jbtyta
