Disney on Ice

Kids Korner is nice enough to treat everyone to seats to Disney on Ice! The daycare paid for tickets for anyone who wanted to go. Of course we jumped at the chance to take Lucy. Jer and I both took the day off work. It started out to be a really snowy day but we were determined to make it downtown for the show. Lucy did really well & seemed to enjoy it...most of it. She got bored during the last 30 minutes of the 2 hr show and Jer and I took turns walking up the stairs with her. Afterwards, the parents and kids who went met the daycare staff at McDonald's where they treated the kids with a Happy Meal. It was her first Disney on ice and also her first trip into the McDonald's Play area. She went down the slide and thoroughly enjoyed herself. I always thought that I'd never let her play in the germ infested play area but it was more important to me that she had fun.
