Mommy & Me Ballet

I have been wanting to do something with Lucy this winter but haven't been able to find the right thing. I didn't want to go to swim class because it's not going to turn out good coming out in the cold weather with wet hair. So I have some friends with older girls who have enrolled their friends in The Pink Slipper which is a ballet studio. I looked into it and Lucy isn't old enough for a class by herself until 2 1/2 but there was a mommy and me class starting up soon so last Monday we went for a trial class for free. It was so much fun and of course looks absolutely adorable in her ballet outfit! It's not exactly a ballet class but it's ll movement. We went from crawling around the floor making different animal sounds to jumping up and down around the studio. I think her favorite part was the special fairy dust (glitter) she got brushed on herself when class was done. We will definitely go back!
