The first couple of weeks home was such a whirlwind and I barely remember them. It was full of visitors, craziness, and lack of sleep. Naturally, everyone wanted to come meet Piper and the best part is when they came-they brought food for us! Our fridge was packed the first week. Since my parents weren't able to come until the weekend Piper SHOULD have been coming home, we are so lucky to have so many friends to help us out!! I don't think we could have gotten through the first couple of weeks as smoothly without them!
Piper went to the pediatrician For a weight check and bili check and she was almost back at birth weight so she doesn't have to go back until it's her one mont appointment. Also, the best part is we billi levels were low enough we didn't have to get the special blanket. She's absolutely perfect...just like her big sister!
