4 weeks Post Partum

I can't believe it's been 4 weeks since I had Lucy. It's amazing how fast time has gone. Lucy and I both had visits with our doctors this week. The picture to the right is a picture of Lucy and Dr. Brazus-the doctor who delivered her. I had my 4 week post partum appointment with her and it went really well. She was very pleased with the way I was healing and how fast I was healing. Pregnant or not, I still dread getting on the scale. I gained 32 lbs from beginning to end and have lost 26 lbs of that. However, people were definitely right-your body is definitely not the same after pregnancy. I have a lot of work to do at the gym which speaking of Brazus has allowed me to go back to the gym for light cardio-no lifting or sex until 6 weeks post partum.

I can wait a couple of more weeks :)

Lucy had her one month appointment today with her new doctor and we really liked her. Lucy weighs 8lbs 10 1/2 ounces and is 22 inches. This puts her in the 34th percentile for weight and 83rd for height. She's definitely getting Jeremy's height so far. Maybe he'll get his wish for the volleyball scholarship to Notre Dame! For now we are going to keep her on the soy formula unless her constipation (soy formula causes) gets worse then we'll switch to a different formula. Other then that, she's doing great! We go back in a month to get her shots which I am sure she will not be thrilled with...
