May is a busy month...

May has been a very busy month for us. We usually have the entire calendar filled up each weekend. It's been filled with birthday parties, cookouts, friends and lots of rain! To catch ya up though on what's new with Lucy is pretty short and simple...she's brilliant! haha! No really she is smart. We had our parent/teacher conference with the daycare and they said she's well ahead of her class and is very bright for her age. There's nothing more that warms a parent's heart then to hear that your child is smart. She's singing parts of ABC song, Humpty Dumpty, and Happy Birthday. Those are her top 3 songs. I've also managed to teach her to bob her head to good music and if it's really good then she waves her arms. She knows how to high 5 but we're trying to teach her to fist bump now. She knows a whole slew of words so for me to type them all would be impossible. I can't remember them all until I hear them! She went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago for a green snotty nose and she weighed 22 lbs. So she's still pretty tall and skinny. We'll find out stats in another couple of weeks at the 18 month appointment. The biggest development of HER life is that there is no more paci. Yep, that went away in ONE weekend where we snipped the top and eventually just took it away. She didn't do as bad as I had thought. She cried herself to sleep for about 5 minutes and was done. I'm so glad that it's gone!
