Dad's Perspective: One Month to Go

There is officially only one month to go until we finally get to meet Piper! It seems to have gone by so fast and we are wrapping up some last minute chores before she gets here. We cleaned out Piper's room some and got her crib raised back up to the infant height. Lucy seems to be excited for Piper's arrival as well. She has been really into playing with baby dolls and today when we picked her up from the church nursery, they said she played with the same doll the whole time and called it sister :) The only one that seems more nervous than excited is Pumpkin. He is pretty good at picking up on things and he has been needing extra attention these days. I'll have to make sure and give him some extra pets and let him know that Piper will be just as sweet as Lucy, outside of shooing him off her bed and sometimes chasing him at least :) I haven't done a very good job posting as often this time as I did last time(if you are reading this, sorry future Piper), but I plan on trying to do more during this last month.
