Happy Easter! This year Lucy was old enough to start to understand the concept of Easter or at least the fun, commercialized part of Easter. We woke up early for church Easter morning and when Lucy came downstairs, she found her Easter basket. We weren't sure if we were going to hide the eggs or not and forgot about the basket. Well she found it. It was a good thing we were ready early because she opened all her eggs (most full of silver change) and had to make various piles of them and of course wanted to eat her M & M's for breakfast. Being the responsible parent I am, I said sure why not it's Easter! haha! We went to church and later that afternoon went to the southside to Jer's Aunt's house. They live on a huge piece of land and thankfully it was nice out where she could go outside and play and participate in the Easter egg hunt. She had a blast and I think found more eggs then most of the other kids. She's brilliant :) So by the time we left there she was exhausted and headed home for a nap. After a short nap, we went over to Jer's dad's house where we enjoyed a delicious Easter meal and Lucy got ANOTHER Easter basket. She was on a chocolate high when we left there and finally crashed at almost 10pm! With an Easter basket from daycare, us, Aunt Joans, and Granny/Papa's plus various cards I would say she had a great Easter! I cant wait till next Easter when there are 2 Sorg girls hunting for eggs!
