Sprinkle

I will argue with anyone who tries to say they have the best friends because I'm pretty confident that I've been blessed with some of the best girlfriends I could ever have! It all started out with a delivery at work from Edible Arrangements. The picture probably looks like it taste good and let me assure you, it was delicious! The best part was the chocolate covered bananas. The arrangement itself came with a card which ended up being the invitation to my surprise sprinkle! So a sprinkle is a baby shower on a diet. It's usually given for moms on their 2nd child or more. Not everyone gets one so that's why I feel extra special that my friends thought about giving me one. I've participated in sprinkles through my Bunco group but never hosted one. My sprinkle was at the spa which was probably the best part! It started off with a prenatal massage and was followed by a pedicure and manicure accompanied by some of my dearest friends. It was nice to have some girl time at the salon. After the salon, we all went to dinner at a place called Piper's! Yes, the restaurant was picked for a reason. If you don't know...that is the name of our baby girl. Piper Lorene. Piper is a name we both just fell in love with and Lorene is the name of my grandmother. At dinner, I was ridiculously spoiled by not only the best steak I've ever had but some amazing gifts! I got a lot of necessities (from my friends who are moms and know what I NEED), gift cards to get whatever I thought I still need, a cute outfit, and a fabulous diaper bag! Again, I will argue with anyone that claims they have the best friends! I had some anxiety about all the things I needed to get and after the sprinkle, I felt more at ease. There are probably still things we need but I totally forgot. I will never forget that day!
