Your little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!I actually went the entire day (knock on wood) without gagging or puking so I feel like it was very successful. In fact, I actually feel good enough where I am cleaning upstairs for Rebecca who is coming to town in just a few days!!! I hope this good feeling lasts and it doesn't mean something bad is wrong w/the baby. Sorry, I can't help but worry. I got down a bit today when my co-worker, who's wife was 8 weeks pregnant, had their first ultrasound today and the baby had no heartbeat. The D & C is scheduled for tomorrow. It just has me worried 150% more. I am trying to trust God and that my baby is going to stick and be healthy. I pray for that every morning and night....hopefully God hears my prayers.
