Last night Jeremy and I went out for the first time since we found out I was pregnant. We went out with a group of our friends to celebrate a bunch of other friends birthday's. May is the best month to have a birthday! We went out to Scotty's first for dinner where this was my 2nd attempt to eat out and also ended up a failure. I ordered corn dog bites, which I know you aren't supposed to have hot dogs, but still ordered them. I ate one and than they had to be moved from in front of me or I thought I was going to loose the one corn dog I just ate and the delicious DQ ice cream birthday cake. Needless to say, I sipped on my fantastic sprite and grenadine drink and watched everyone else try to devour their food so we weren't late to the show. After Scotty's we headed to the Murat and saw Jim Gaffigan. He was hilarious!!! It was well worth the money for the ticket for Jeremy because Denise bought my ticket for my birthday which was a fantastic birthday present! I haven't laughed that much in a long time!!! After the show, we went to the Rathskeller for some drinks. Again, I sipped on my sprite and grenadine or kiddie cocktail. After not ordering beer, my usual, the news slowly leaked out. Everyone was excited for us and it felt good to tell a few more friends. I am still anxious that we let the cat out of the bag too early but I'll be in 9 weeks on Tuesday so I am starting to feel better about it. Afterall, how pregnant was I when I whipped out a container of cheerios to snack on at the Rathskeller. I've learned to keep snacks with me to help contain the nauseau spurts. Props to Denise that put up with the smell of my Cheerios. She reminded me how they smelled like urine :) Oh yea, we went and saw her on Friday and got another ultrasound. Baby Sorg's heart beat was nice and strong and has grown a lot since Jeremy and I last saw it. It's amazing how fast these things grow!!
