My morning sickness has turned into all day sickness. After a diet of popsicles, saltines, 7 up and gagging over a toliet, I finally hit the point of no return and called the doctor's office for some relief. They originally asked me to try phenegran but that didn't do anything but help me go to sleep. I passed out from 9pm until my alarm went off the next day. It was the first time I had slept through the entire night. Needless to say, I can't function on medicine that will make me fall asleep. The nurse immediately called me in Zophran and so far it's working a little bit. I felt really good at work today and finally had my appetite back.
On the positive side, Jeremy & I made another trip to see our friend, Denise, last night. We were already down by her meeting other friends for dinner so why not pop in to see our little baby. Plus, the more I see it and know the baby is ok--I can actually try to relax. Baby Sorg's heartbeat was 149bpm and we couldn't believe how much the baby had changed! It went from looking like a little stick to looking like a little bean. It was adorable. We were happy to hear the heart beat again. It's the little things that are starting to matter to us.
Oh yeah! We got 3 cards this past week from some good friends that we told and we were thrilled to know that we have such good friends supporting us throughout this process.
