Week #6

Well we found out a couple of weeks ago that Pumpkin and Izzy will be getting a new sibling...and no not another kitten but an actual baby. We're not sure if they understand fully what is going to happen! I am now well into week #6 and have gone to the doctor to get my blood tests and they confirmed I was pregnant. Jeremy & I found that having one of my best friends, Denise, being an ultrasound tech has finally worked to our advantage. We have made a couple of visits down to see her. The first visit we were able to see the sac and get an EDD (estimated due date) of Dec 22nd. We made a second visit this past week and saw the baby, yolk sac, and heard/saw the heart beat! Baby Sorg was pumping to 150 bpm! We were so glad to hear such a strong heart beat so early. I didn't have many symptoms and felt great until Week 6 started and now I have terrible morning sickness which has turned into all day sickness. We've only told some very close friends and of course family. We're going to wait until I am further along to share the happy news.
