We've got oranges!

Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces. She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds.

And let me clarify that when this refers to he or she it's only because the particular website is.

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday afternoon. It went pretty well. We just talked to the doctor and we heard the heartbeat through the doppler. It was 156. I also had the dreaded weigh in. It's official...5 lbs now. Doctor wasn't worried about all about any weight gain (apparently that's only me) and she wasn't too concerned about the lack of protein either. I am taking calcium supplements since I dont get enough calcium. The only thing that concerned both of us is another symptom I'm having and well I don't want to go into that too much...it's way TMI :) The last week and 1/2 the all day sickness has come back into full force and what was an increasing appetite has disappeared again. I could barely eat a personal pan pizza! I also noticed that while I do love candy...I can't have a lot of sugar before it makes me sick to my belly. This pregnancy hasn't been the easiest that's for sure. Anyway, my blood pressure was great and we set the next appointment July 28th which will be our big ultrasound to find out the sex. Hopefully we'll get a sneak preview in the next couple of weeks from our secret ultrasounds but the results of that will be a secret. And the answer to everyone's main question...we do have some names picked out but not set on anything in particular yet.
