Dad's Perspective

For the last few weeks I've been waiting for one big milestone...feeling a kick. Well earlier this week I finally felt it! :) It was great to finally be able to feel it and I look forward to feeling stronger and more frequent kicks in the future. We hit another milestone this weekend in emptying Baby Lucy's room. All of the spare bedroom furniture was moved into the room formerly known as the computer room/office. Since the room has been cleared, it is now time to paint the room. Originally we were hoping to maybe have the room painted today, but moving everything yesterday was a lot of work and we took advantage of the nice day to go down to the Edinburgh Outlet mall. We went ahead and picked up the paint today since I have Tuesday off and I will be painting after we have the doctor appointment and visit a daycare. Things are definitely coming together and after the paint it will be furniture building time.
