26 weeks...Double Digits

The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. She may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. She's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And she's continuing to put on baby fat. She now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel.

26 weeks also means I am in double digits meaning I have less then 100 days until I am due!!! Things are progressing well with the pregnancy so far and I look forward to my appointment next Tuesday. Well not looking forward to the Gestational Diabetes test but can only pray that God will spare me from having that. I've had every symptom possible and hoping that will be one I don't have. I am looking forward mostly to my 1st baby shower this weekend! This shower will be @ Chris's house and I can't wait!! Mainly can't wait for the great food because she's such a good cook. The picture to the left is a picture of what I see when I look down. I took it for fun to show Jeremy & thought I'd post for the rest of you to see.
