We had our doctors appointment yesterday. It couldnt have gone better. I first had an ultrasound where Jer and I were able to see Lucy. Man has she grown a lot since we saw her last. She weighs 2 lbs 7 oz and looked great and yes she still is a Lucy. I joked with some friends that she was a Larry not a Lucy. I dont think they thought that was very funny. She also is measuring 3 days ahead and is breached. This is why they think that my stomach is measuring ahead because of the way she is positioned. The fluid was at a good level so it has to be the positioning. After the ultrasound, I had my blood drawn I PASSED!!!! the gestational diabetes test which I got my results in. God has spared me....!!! I am so thrilled with these results! And I lost 1 lb since Friday so for the whole month-I only gained 1 lb! After my blood was drawn, we met with Dr. Brazus. She did her usual how's it going talk, measure the stomach, look over ultrasound results, etc. She's always preached to me that she wouldn't do a C-section unless it was really necessary. Lots of doctors do them out of ease-she wants to exhaust her possibilities before doing so. However, after hearing that Lucy was breached she said she wouldn't mind if she stayed that way. I said WHAT?! She explained that I have a small bones in my pelvis region and that she thinks that even if I go into labor-it'll be hard and probably will end up having to do an emergency C-Section so if she stays breached then we'll schedule a C-Section. Now don't get all crazy on me-it's just her letting me know what potentially could happen which I appreciate. I never knew that my bone structure was small, etc. There's still time for her to turn, still time for my bones to pop, break, move etc.
