It's been a few weeks since my last post, but a lot has been accomplished in that time. Last weekend we had the furniture delivered and I had some help from Kyle in putting it together. When we purchased the furniture the guy selling it told a story about someone needing seven hours to put the furniture together. This made us think we needed help. It was great to have the help since me and Melinda probably would have had trouble moving everything upstairs, but the dresser came assembled and the glider only needed to have the base attached to it. The crib came in about 5 or 6 pieces and took only an hour or so to finish. Either the salesman was trying to have us pay them to build it for us or the guy that took so long to assemble had no clue what was going on. This weekend, we purchased the mattress for the crib and did a little more decorating of Lucy's room. This week was also the first time I was able to see Lucy kicking, which is even better than feeling it. Finally, we just got back from the Colts game today and I just wanted to let all of the Colts fan reading know that Lucy should probably be credited for the game clinching play. On fourth down I rubbed Lucy for good luck and it apparantly worked as the Colts stopped the Jaguars...I guess the Colts defense should get a little credit too :)
