Last Friday, we packed the car and headed to Ohio for a long weekend and a baby shower for Lucy. It had been a few months since we last went back home and it had never felt so good to go. We didn't really do anything except hang out with mom and dad and sleep. We slept at least 10 hours every night. Apparently our bodies needed the rest or we just felt that relaxed there. On Saturday, mom and I went to my baby shower at my good friend Sheri's house. It was beautiful. I had such a good time seeing everyone and was glad that my mom was able to finally come to a shower. I am still bummed that I didn't get a picture with her though. It's ok though because I have the memories of the entire shower in my head. After the shower, I spent some more time with my high school friends. We've all been friends since 1st grade so friends for about 20 years! It was great catching up with everyone in person rather then email, texting, etc. On Sunday, we went to church with mom and dad. Unfortunately, my sickness returned and with a vengeance. The nausea is coming more frequently and usually after I eat. It's still (knock on wood) not as bad as first/second trimester. Sunday night we went to the churches Fall Festival to see Katie & Chip and their kids. It was really cold out but it was so fun seeing them dressed up. Monday morning we got up and headed back to our Indiana home. Pumpkin and Izzy were very excited to see us!
