Lucy is 2 weeks old today...well as of 10:25pm she will be. Jer, Lucy, and I bundled up today to go to the pediatrician's office to do a weight check. She's 7 lbs and 2 oz now. She has gained enough weight back where they aren't concerned about her not gaining enough and we don't have to wake her up to eat...not that we ever had to. Knock on wood-she's been a pretty good baby and we haven't had to deal with any non stop crying. The only time it's harder to soothe her is when she has gas but it's never a wailing type of cry. Last night she woke up every 3 1/2 hours to eat which was nice for Jer and I. We both prob got 8 hours of sleep last night which was wonderful even if it is in small increments. She is taking well to her formula/bottles and we are flying through diapers. Santa got her a couple of toys but Santa should have probably got her a case of formula and a few boxes of diapers!!
Today was the first day that I went out on my own without Jeremy and Lucy. It was strange. I just went over to the mall down the street to get a couple of presents and some fresh air. I was out for maybe an hour and was worn out when I got home. I think the walking though is good even if it's still kinda painful.
