12 weeks old

Lucille Madison is 12 weeks old today. I can't believe how fast time is going. It literally feels like I was just giving birth to her yesterday. Gosh, I feel so old saying that. She's changing so much every day and ask you can see she looks more like her daddy now. She can hold her head up a lot better now and is really a good baby. She still loves bath time and is figuring out that if she moves around a lot that she'll splash us. During the day she's awake longer now and sleeping pretty good at night. In fact, last night she slept through the night! We took her to church this past weekend and the nursery workers love her and people come up to us and tell us how cute she is. We believe it too! On this mat we have for her, it has a little measuring tool on there. We measured her and she's 24 inches now!! She's busting out of her 0-3 month clothes so we're transitioning her into 3-6 months now. At daycare, we get a sheet everyday showing us how much she's eaten and about her diapers. Also, the sheets tells us what activities she did for the day and if she's cheerful, fussy, or content and so far she's always gotten a cheerful. She enjoys her time there and they are so good for her. We are lucky that we found a good daycare. On her first day, one of the little girls who is 8 months old was so excited to see Lucy that she grabbed her face with her long nails and scratched her. I know things like this will happen but did it have to happen on my first day? Lucy was fine though and it's healing fast. They even bought a bassinet just for her to sleep in because I preferred she slept in the crib instead of a swing all the time. They are so cautious about SIDS that they got a bassinet for her so they can always watch over her until she's a little older.
